Supporting our local students

Here, at Train to Safety, we are fully supportive of young people and being able to help their development is a real joy! 

In January this year, a Business student from Chesterfield College joined our company as part of his work experience placement and will be with us until June 2027.  We see that Investing in support and training demonstrates a commitment to young person’s growth and development.  We also see the benefits of the contributions and enthusiasm made by our placement student and the smiles in our workplace.

Tomorrow we are pleased to welcome a number of sixth form students from Netherthorpe School to our one-day ISEP Environmental Awareness course, free of charge. The course will help them build knowledge, skills, and confidence beyond the classroom, while raising awareness of how everyday actions can affect the environment. We hope it will also empower and encourage them to consider practical ways to reduce negative impacts and share what they learn with others, while removing financial barriers.

I know this is just the start of a magical journey of supporting our students and young people.

We hope to openly offer others similar opportunities in the future.
