TESTIMONIALS

Consistently delivering exceptional Health and Safety Training services to our clients.

Through its use of industry qualified and experienced tutors, the Company has maintained a policy of providing the highest level of instruction and by constantly reviewing the quality of courses, ensures that the training satisfies the clients needs and expectations. Don't just take our word for it, see some of the great feedback below we have received from just a few of our very satisfied customers.

DW, Health and safety officer, University of Sheffield.

Train to Safety have been our preferred training provider within the department for a number of years now, most recently with the delivery of a basic COSHH awareness course for staff and students.  The timescale from design to delivery was very short indeed, but training was provided over 12 sessions to around 160 people!

Train to Safety have delivered risk assessment, manual handling, abrasive wheels training as well as recommending a fork truck training provider.

Peter and Dave personally supported me through my NEBOSH qualifications and are always a ‘phone call away if I have questions or need advice.

Peter and Dave provide a personal and very bespoke service. Nothing is too much trouble.

I have no hesitation in recommending them to other organisations.

Craig H, Factory Manager, Refractory Co Ltd.

As factory manager at XXX Refractories, I am able to pass comment on our Health and Safety advisor, Peter Minto or Train to Safety Ltd and Sustainable Solutions ESHB Ltd.

Peter Minto (PM) has been serving our organisation for seven years now, attending our site once per month of which I have been in attendance for the last four years. Within each visit, he goes through a routine schedule of site inspection, and follow up to all events over the last 30 days.  . PM develops the health and safety management system, writing risk assessments and sourcing other services required such as health surveillance. PM takes on one-off tasks such as any incidents requiring investigation and speaking with suppliers if further technical information is required.

Peters’ role seems to be not only trying to protect the reputation of the company but also the safety and welfare of the operators. His approach seems to be pragmatic with how health and safety is applied, always trying to justify any suggested improvements by offering cost / benefit assessments and alternative methods to address any issue.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Peter Minto and hope that this will help others by shining a light on his historic and most valued performance.

Tim P. Health Safety and Quality advisor, Auto Windscreens Ltd

Both myself and my colleague were trained by Peter Minto at Train to Safety, which we agreed was excellent and led to a pass in each case. The course was delivered in such a way that each topic was taken on board and understood as Peter has an ability to explain a subject in a way that is broken down in to real life situations. This made it easy to take the subject in and retain the information. On previous courses that I have attended with other providers, I have found it very difficult to retain this information.

AB -  Director. J&E Hall

At J&E Hall Ltd. we encouraged and nurtured the development of Train to Safety from the conceptual stage of their business idea. We mentored and provided support with applications to awarding bodies such as the ECITB. Since then we have been extremely pleased to use their services for many situations from developing the safety behaviour of our new recruits to discussing issues with the Directors of our organisation. We have little hesitation in using their services and can recommend them to others who have not yet had the opportunity to work with them.

M E - HSEQ Manager - Brettex Site Services Ltd.

I came across Peter Minto completing Health and Safety training 9 years ago. I came to know him and realise we had similar things in common in consideration to the protection of workers and also the protection of companies. As such I have supported and encouraged him throughout the development of Train to Safety, his training organisation. In agreement with me, Peter also believes that health and safety trainers should possess much higher levels of teaching training than the usual minimum requirements of the awarding bodies such as NEBOSH and IOSH. It’s not just a job for Peter, it’s a vocation.

Gareth S. Production and HS manager. Joseph Clayton and Sons Ltd.

Train to Safety have provided Joseph Clayton and Sons with some great support over the years. I insisted my staff used their training following my own experience. The trainers seem to have an individual understanding of each person in the training room and always want to go out of their way to ensure a good result is finally achieved. We will certainly continue to use them for as long as it is possible to do so.

I would strongly recommend train to safety to any organisation striving for continued improvement within the health and safety part of the business.

A healthy workforce and a safe plant means happy productive workforce.
