Emphasis on health protection

The number one item of the latest HSE policy to try and drive improvement in the reduction of ill health as a result of workplace activities in the same way that safety issues have been reduced, quite significantly since the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

As managers we are required to look long and hard about the way we protect our workforce from hazards such as Noise, Dust, Vibration, solvents, fume, stress etc.
