Seminar returns to Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield for 2020
Rated by last years’ exhibitors at our seminar as “the best regional and independent health and safety seminars there is.”
It’s nearly seminar time of year once more. 12th May is the date, at the Chesterfield venue of the Ringwood Hall Hotel.
So why Ringwood? Well, just let’s say it’s their turn. We like to take the annual event round the region, i.e. South Yorkshire one year, Nottinghamshire another year, North East Derbyshire next etc. We have been here before so we have the advantage that we are familiar with the staff and the surroundings as we become incrementally better each year at running the event. We like the venue to be close to a railway station if possible but also close to the main motorway links as quite a few people travel in from outside the area. Also, the food is fabulous and the setting is just so relaxing and enjoyable. (We don't like corporate environments)
What’s on? We are still piecing the event together so that there is a slightly common theme if we are able to align it all but also a few diversions to move the interest outside of a narrow field of thought.
We have the usual update in health and safety to start off with which is crucial for everyone’s CPD. Following on, after a break we have a range of sublime presentations about risk management in a range of sectors. In the afternoon we have more time for workshops which were well received last year. These include some discussion based workshops and also some orientated around new technology such as the use of auditing software. Watch this blog for regular updates.
Please note, the space we have assigned to us this year is slightly smaller than last year, therefore there will be competition for places. Please don’t leave ordering your place till late as if it fills up at the rate of last year then there will be some disappointed people.
