Don't take no for an answer

Health and safety managers are forever locked into the battle for the hearts and minds of their staff and in particular those who control the budgets. Cynthia Barlow has a story to tell which should inspire all of us to keep the faith and if need be, look for different approaches to influence our peers. Mrs Barlow caused such changes to safety in the Transport and Haulage industry that she was awarded the OBE. The transport company she was involved with won awards, causing a ripple effect across the industry sector. Her story is amazing.
