The CCNSG Supervising Safety Course has been upgraded and refined into a one day bolt on course renamed Leading A Team Safely. The aim of the CCNSG Leading A Team Safely is to set the scene within the context of legislation and general Health and Safety aspects. The CCNSG Leading A Team Safely Course is valid for three years from the date of the course. To be eligible to attend the Leading A Team Safely, you must hold a current Safety Passport

The course content includes
Consideration into the attributes to a successful team
The attributes towards a good team leader
The relationship between risk assessments, method statements and permits to work.
Consideration into a blame culture
Communication, including techniques for active listening
Methods for positive and constructive feedback
Active monitoring in comparison to supervision.
The course includes one multi choice question paper at the end to demonstrate competence has been achieved.
